3:) QUESTIONS for Dale Olson:

Q: I have yet to own a pendulum (excepting pendants on chains),
and I would really like to know what the differences are between
pendulums of different materials. For example, I am drawn to the
concept of the wooden pendulum, although I also like some of the
metal ones to. They have a "crisper" or "sharper" quality that is
attractive to me right now. Generally, I am not fond of pendulums
that are crystal, with the exception of those that are made of very
clear quartz. I'm just very curious as to what all of that means.

A: I love lots of tools and lots of pendulums are fun to play with.
However, the truth of the matter is that it doesn¼t make any
difference as to what you have dangling from a string or chain
as long as it feels good and works for you. It is true that all
pendulums feel different with different action to them. Due to size,
weight and shape, there will be variations as to how they respond
in your hand. It is also important when working with pendulum
charts that you have a pendulum that is symmetrical and pointed so
that you can easily see where it is pointing to. I carry the pixie
pendulum with me so that when I¼m in the store, I can palm it
easily so that I don¼t get crowds of spectators around me.
The pioneer pendulist believed that they needed to have different
pendulums for different subjects, and different types of
pendulums for different types of questions.
The key is believed.
The bottom line is what you believe will be.

Q: Would you recommend that an individual possess a variety
of pendulums (wood, metal, crystal) for different purposes?
If so, which situations would merit which type of pendulum?

A: Yes, try lots of different types of pendulums. You can
never have too many toys, more toys....more fun.
By trying many different types you will find the ones that work
best for you, and, you will have your favorites. Again, it is a
matter of your personal preference by what feels good to you.

The Way of the Intuitive Heart

ALL OUR INTERIOR WORLD IS REALITY--AND THAT PERHAPS
MORE SO THAN OUR APPARENT WORLD. (Marc Chagall)

For over 2000 years, we have been conditioned to rely on organized
religion or philosophies to lead and guide us; to tell us what we should
and should not do; to make us feel guilty if we fail to obey; to impose
upon us man-made doctrines, rules, and regulations... And, where
has all this taken us?

Today, we have innumerable religious groups and philosophies, all
claiming to have the RIGHT answers and the only true way back to
an Infinite Source or God. But how many of us seriously envision
our own truth and act upon it? How many of us really live our own
truth, the truth we have discovered by going within ourselves where
all the answers can be found?

Each one of us has been endowed with unique powers to reason, to
feel, and to know for ourselves. But we must trust those powers
and not be afraid to use them. Because of our intuition, each one of
us is our own best psychic. We have all experienced receiving
information from our intuition, from a hunch, or from a dream.
Why is it, then, that we rely so much on others or on religions,
philosophies, or movements for answers that each of us can receive
by tapping into our incredible wealth of internal guidance? In fact,
our true natural state is psychic. We were all born with intuitive,
inner psychic abilities.

Many people who have been called GREAT men or women have
discovered that Infinite Source's or God's mighty work is done
through each one of us. As Gandhi said: I CLAIM TO BE NO
MORE THAN AN AVERAGE PERSON, WITH LESS THAN
AVERAGE ABILITY. I HAVE NOT THE SHADOW OF A
DOUBT THAT ANY MAN OR WOMAN CAN ACHIEVE WHAT
I HAVE IF HE OR SHE WOULD MAKE THE SAME EFFORT
AND CULTIVATE THE SAME HOPE AND FAITH. Indeed,
we can all be Gandhis by following the intuitive ways of the heart
and by trusting our own psychic abilities.

As the imagination is the eye of the soul, the intuitive heart is the
door to our freedom and to our way back to whatever Source we
believe in. And only by trusting our hunches, by listening to our
inner voice, by paying attention to our dreams, can we find harmony
and peace within ourselves and discover our own truth. And only
by living our own truth can we, then, unlock the creative powers
we never knew we possessed.

Philosophers are perhaps the ones who come closest to
understanding what intuition truly is. Because of their subjective
qualities, intuitive experiences cannot be duplicated or validated
in laboratories; neither can they be explained scientifically. But
the more each one of us thinks about his or her intuitive side, the
more we will become intuitive. And, through Nature, we have
been given the intuitive skills to help us grow, to protect
ourselves, and to evolve toward our life goal.

Ever since the beginning of time, WISE people have allowed
their inner voice to guide them. However, our modern,
fast-paced, computerized society has caused us to lose touch
with our inner voice and, as a result, we find ourselves at the
mercy of our troubles. But our inner voice--that divine
OVERSELF that communicates with us--is all-knowing and
understands the purpose of our life on earth. And this inner
voice is more than willing, through our heart, to give us
guidance. As we listen to our inner voice, we draw closer
to our spiritual heart and we protect ourselves against the
lower ways of our ego.

Our conscience--what the Hindu yogis call THE HEART
--is the highest of the intuitive voices and is our innate
knowledge of what is right or wrong, of what is truth.
And every one of us has a conscience, a source of
universal knowledge. All we have to do is recognize its
power and be humble enough to listen to its promptings.
By doing so, we will do the right thing, live in right
relationship, and discover our own truth.

As a little child once told me, WE CAN ONLY KNOW
GOD FROM THE INSIDE.... We know that it is not
possible to know everything from the outside. But if we
go inside of ourselves and listen to our intuitive heart,
eventually we will find the answers to life's
questions and discover our own truth.
