Anneliese had a long period of illness and could not find the answers to her problems with conventional medicines. Her dissatisfaction with conventional methods became the impetus in a decade long search for alternative treatments to manage her pain. A chance meeting with a woman that would teach her the art of dowsing changed her life.
One of the life changing events in Anneliese's life took her to where she is today was when her father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was his primary care giver for the last five years of his life.
"It was during this time that I was opened to God," Anneliese said. "I kept a journal and recorded my feelings, insights, and pain. This helped me through the process of dealing with the fact that my father was dying. The journal helped me keep sane during a very hard time. I got in tune with God after my father's passing. It was the most awakening time of my life."
After her father's death, she became involved in numerous classes and workshops on self-healing, hospice care, peer counseling, and biokinesiology. However, she discovered that the dowsing she had learned from her dowsing teacher, Maxine Janette was the method that worked best for her. With the help of the art of dowsing, Anneliese gradually began fo feel better mentally and then her physical problems began to improve.
"Dowsing was the simplest way for me to tune into myself," said Anneliese. "Once awareness of balance is gained and an effort is made to heal oneself, the natural process of healing can take over. That is why my mission in life is to teach others to help themselves and others."
We are blessed in this world to have a number of loving, energetic beings that are enthusiastic about life and the prospect of helping others. Anneliese Hagemann is such a person. It is inspiring to see her enthusiasm for dowsing and her application of this to the health and happiness of all whose lives she has touched.

In conclusion, Anneliese leaves you with a parting thought. Perhaps, we will see it in her next book. "As we look to heaven and ask for guidance, we acknowledge the truth that we believe in a higher source. Some of us call it God, Lord, Jehovah, Buddha, Yahweh, Jesus, etc... In truth it is all the same, it is the vibration we are able to relate to, that is our truth at that time. We as human beings need to be very careful of judging others for their belief systems. There are many religions in this world and whatever they believe in, that is their truth. Please do not judge others, for you are then judging yourself. St. Mark 12:31 is talking about 'Love" (Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these). What does this mean to you? Does it mean only your neighbor next store? No, not at all. It also means your neighbor across the country, across the world, not matter what culture they are, what religion they belong to. Please honor, respect, and love unconditionally each individual for being in their own truth."
